  • Yes, West Michigan Auto Glass is primarily a mobile service. We feel that coming to your work or home saves you valuable time. Each of our vehicles are equipped with the tools needed to professionally install your windshield on site.

  • At West Michigan Auto Glass we strive to provide timely and efficient service to all our customers. To ensure that we can accommodate everyone’s needs, we have established the following cancellation policy.

    Cancellations: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to notify us will result in a $25 fee for the first three attempts. If a customer has more than three no-shows within a year, they will be required to pay a 50% deposit for future appointments.

    Late arrivals: Please note that if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed within the remaining time frame. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made. If we do not hear from you 15 or more minutes after your scheduled appointment time, it will be considered a “no-show,” and you will be required to pay a $25 fee to reschedule.

    Booking appointments: A deposit of $25 is required for all in-shop appointments upon booking services. This will be deducted from your appointment total.

    Exceptions: Fees may be waived in cases of emergencies (e.g., medical issues, accidents).

    This policy will be communicated during the booking process.

  • -No car washes for three days

    -24 hours of careful driving

    -Remove the tape at the end of the day, if applicable

    Not applicable to moveable door glasses.

  • An average install usually takes about 45-60 minutes. If you have advanced safety features such as Forward Collision Alert or Lane Departure Warning System it can take anywhere from 60-90 minutes for the complete process.

  • Each repair is different. The repair generally clears the chip up about 75 – 90%. This all depends on the age, contamination, and severity of damage. Although the chip doesn’t clear up 100%, the repair is preventative as opposed to cosmetic.

  • Give us a call at 616-777-0331 with your policy number handy and we’ll help you through the rest! The process is usually about 10-15 minutes long. If you’d rather handle the claim by yourself or with your agent, just let them know you’d like “West Michigan Auto Glass” to do the work!

  • In the winter, heated shelter (ie. shop, 2 stall garage, heated barn) or weather above 37 degrees is necessary for a flawless install. If you don’t have shelter, come to our shop! We have fresh coffee and wifi available for you while you wait for your vehicle to be completed.

    Depending on the features your vehicle has and the type of calibration needed, we may need to schedule you for after the weather clears.

  • Just some of the areas we service are: Greenville, Cedar Springs, Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Hudsonville, Jenison, Kalamazoo, Allegan, Portage, Hamilton, Caledonia, Wayland, Hastings and Grand Rapids.

  • If the damaged area is smaller than a quarter we can usually repair it. Just keep in mind a repair is a preventative fix, not a cosmetic one so the chip may still be visible. In some circumstances, the attempt to repair a windshield can result in the chip or crack becoming larger, we are not responsible for this damage.

  • Most of the newer vehicles, even some older, have so many different options, from an auto dimming rearview mirror to forward collision alert and so much more. The VIN helps us figure out exactly which windshield features your vehicle may or may not have to insure that we have the correct windshield and tools with us.

  • No, we do not currently do any window tinting.

  • No, unfortunately, we do not service moon or sunroofs at this time.
